This vintage French medal of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been recast in sterling silver and hangs on an 18 inch Italian sterling silver chain. The Blessed Virgin Mary was a friend of her son Jesus' friend, Mary Magdalene. They were together at the foot of the cross with John the beloved when the other apostles fled.
