This vintage French medal of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been recast in sterling silver and plated in 18K gold. It hangs on an 18 inch Italian 18K gold vermeil chain. The Blessed Virgin Mary was a friend of her son Jesus' friend, Mary Magdalene. They were together at the foot of the cross with John the beloved when the other apostles fled.
